On May 3, 2019, Wildwood achieved Person Centered Excellence level of re-accreditation by the Council on Quality and Leadership (CQL). A week-long site visit and examination of progress made since our last accreditation demonstrated all of the growth and development we’ve made over the past 4 years.
CQL examines our policies and procedures and the way we put them into practice for 10 Basic Assurances. They are:
- Rights Protection and Promotion
- Dignity and Respect
- Natural Support Networks
- Protection from Abuse, Neglect, Mistreatment and Exploitation
- Best Possible Health
- Safe Environments
- Staff Resources and Supports
- Positive Services and Supports
- Continuity and Personal Security
- Basic Assurances® System
Wildwood held focus groups and a stakeholder event with CQL to ensure all had a voice in examining current practices and making suggestions about the direction of future agency goals and priorities. Wildwood will continue to take action for positive development and improvement.
Always striving to be our best, we at Wildwood continue to examine our practices and create innovative ways to serve people and their families. Our partnership with CQL continues to be a productive and fulfilling journey.
