The incumbent is responsible for: understanding the means by which Wildwood is reimbursed for the services it provides; the review and analysis of all funding streams with a focus on revenue maximization; all preparation and submission of external financial reports; and, providing analysis and guidance to the internal budgeting and cost monitoring function. The incumbent will also play a leading role in identifying and managing systemic opportunities for the procurement of various good and services.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.


  • Prepares and analyzes various financial statements and reports.

  • Prepares cost and rate analyses.

  • Assists in preparation of external audit materials and external financial reporting.

  • Prepares state required budgets for current and new programs and services.  

  • Prepares monthly, quarterly and annual reports for Government funding sources and regulatory agencies.

  • Assists in budget preparation based on organization's performance, estimated revenue, expense reports, and past budget numbers. 

  • Works directly with program directors to help manage budgets, payroll reports and monthly expense reports.

  • Reviews operating budgets periodically to analyze trends affecting budget needs and variances.

  • Prepares comparative analyses of operating programs by analyzing costs in relation to services performed during previous fiscal years and submits reports to director of organization with recommendations for budget revisions. 

  • Develop and implement purchasing and contract management instructions, policies, and procedures.

  • Develops a system to evaluate vendor quotations that utilizes appropriate negotiation and purchasing techniques to ensure quality, price, delivery, and service.

  • Develop, implement and refine procurement and contracting policies and procedures and standard contract forms and other template contract and procurement documents,


Bachelor degree in Accounting or related degree from a four-year college or university; four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
A valid New York State Driver’s License and ability to drive anddriving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.
