We are looking for dynamic individuals to work as part of a community based support team to assist adults with neurological impairments and related developmental disabilities in participating in meaningful community activities by performing the following duties.
- Participates in a person centered approach to program plan development and participates in activities to build competencies and integrate individuals into their communities.
This is a direct care position. The program is a Day Services program operating 8am-4pm Monday-Friday.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Medication Administration based on program need, First-Aid and CPR certification or eligibility for certification. SCIP/PROMOTE certification based on program need.
A valid NYS driver's license and ability to drive and driving record acceptable for agency insurance coverage are required.Must be cleared and maintain acceptable record under the NYS OPWDD mandated criminal background check process.
