Wildwood’s Summer Extension Program at Leesome Lane in Altamont provides a unique outdoor learning experience for students ages 5–17 who require Extended School Year (ESY) services. Designed to help students maintain and build upon the skills they developed throughout the school year, the program blends education, related services, and recreation in a supportive, engaging environment.

Students learn in open-air pavilion classrooms while enjoying the natural surroundings of the campus. In addition to individualized educational programming and therapeutic services, students participate in outdoor activities that promote physical wellness, social interaction, and hands-on learning. The campus features hiking trails, a pond, and a swimming pool, allowing students to explore, stay active, and develop important life skills in a fun and enriching setting.

The Summer Extension Program welcomes both Wildwood School students and students from other special education programs, providing a safe, inclusive environment where every student can continue learning, growing, and making lasting summer memories.
