This week, Wildwood celebrated the 40th anniversary of our community residence at 12 Gay Street in Delmar. This house was the second Wildwood residence to open and has supported individuals since 1986.

At Wildwood, our team works tirelessly year-round. But for one special day every year, we hit the pause button. Staff Day is our dedicated time to step away from our daily routines, relax, and simply enjoy each other’s company.

On Monday, June 1, 2026, Wildwood hosted a ceremonial ribbon cutting to officially open its newest Day Habilitation facility.

In early May, Special Education Teacher, Sam Opalka was honored with the Carolee Wilson Scholarship Award.

A big thank you to our friends at the Colonie-Guilderland Rotary Club for hosting another successful food drive for Wildwood. Year after year, their continued support helps keep the Wildwood Cupboard stocked and ready to go.
