An Occupational Therapist works in our school to provide individual and group occupational therapy according to the individualized education plans (IEPs) of the students. Also provides classroom push-in support and works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team approach. Supervises certified occupational therapy assistants (COTAs) according to NYS licensure regulations.
Education/Experience: Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy from a regionally accredited college or university.
Certificates and Licenses: NYS License as an Occupational Therapist; Registration through the NBCOT.
