Where are your jobs advertised?
We post positions on our website. Occasionally, we use CapitalAreaHelpWanted.com, Times Union, various local newspapers, New York's One Stop and local colleges.

What is the hiring process?
We require applicants to have valid work authorization documentation to apply and employs those who are legally authorized to work. After your application is received, we review it for appropriateness of the position. If you are considered for the position, you will be contacted for an interview my the hiring manager or designee. The process may take several weeks.

I am not sure which position to apply for.  What should I do?
Review all the open positions and choose a position that you meet the qualifications and apply. Write the position on the application, resume or cover letter. 

What are you looking for in applicants?
We are looking for people who love to work with others to help them gain independence and personal growth. Please indicate any experience working with people with developmental disabilities. Experience with people with developmental disabilities helps, but Wildwood trains employees who meet the qualifications.

Yes, we welcome interns affiliated with an educational institution and are seeking credit. Please state the area of interest or program that you are interested in and apply in the same manner as regular job applicants.
